A group of Southern California Women, led by Mrs. Jennifer Chinwe Ezeani moved by the painful plight of widows and orphans in Nigeria got together and decided to lend a helping hand… image4Without fanfare or ceremony these compassionate women- Chinwe Ezeani, Princess Ndidi Obi-Mbanugo, Oge Okpala, Ngozi Afonta, Amaka Okpala,Animage6gela Ofomata, Mura Rissone, Caroline McKinley and Chy Udeh informally met and chipped it and sent all the funds they collected through their coordinators in Nigeria- Mrs. Nneka Ifeacho and the Parish Priest of St.Virgo Potens Catholic Church- Father image3image5Boris. The coordinators bought bags of rice, cartons of tomatoes, cartons of vegetable oil, cartons of soap etc and freely distributed to these overjoyed women. In an interview with the founder of the -“Touch a Widow’s Life Program”-Mrs. Jennifer Chinwe Ezeani she said she started this program because of the pain and suffering she has seen widows go through in Africa. She said the women in her informal group are committed to deploying all the resources they are able to raise periodically to helping widows and orphans.

  1. This is a beautiful event.. As I am a widow myself… For years I have watched my friend save on her own to touch a widow’s life. Now with donations from others this event now touches so many more.. God bless you Jennifer and all that gave. We as widows can honestly say sometimes we feel forgotten but this event lets us know how much others still care.. Thank you

  4. Mrs Exeani, is a natural, when it comes to reaching out to others. This is only a glimpse of the helping hand she so freely gives… This is an amazing project, I believe it will flourish with the support system they have in place..
