Chike Nweke installed as 2018 President of Inglewood Board of Realtors

It was moment of pride for the African & Nigerian Diaspora community in California and the United States as one of own own- Chike Nweke, who is also the CEO/Publisher of LIFE & TIMES MEDIA GROUP was installed as the President of the Inglewood Board of Realtors on Thursday December 7, 2017 at a classy ceremony held at the Foundation Center in Los Angeles.

The Inglewood board of Realtors comprising of about 800 real estate professionals in the cities of Inglewood, Hawthorne, Gardena, South Los Angeles etc has a long and proud history. Founded 95 years ago (making it one of the oldest board of Realtors in California), the Inglewood Board has evolved over the years to become a major advocate for private property rights in our community.

The Board is a primary provider of current technology, programs and services that enhance the ability of it’s members to perform at the highest level of professionalism.

Special Guest at the Occasion, The Mayor of Inglewood, the the host City for the board, The Hon. James T. Butts in his address said that the City of Inglewood is in a great rebound- with the Rams football stadium and Clippers Basketball Stadium opening 2020 and 2023 respectively, hosting the Superbowl in 2021, the opening ceremony of the Olympics in 2028 , the Youth section of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra coming in 2018 and several other high profile commercial, sports, entertainment and business opportunities, it is an exciting time to practice real estate in Inglewood.
Chike was installed as President by the 2016 President of the California Association of Realtors The Hon. Pat “Ziggy” Zicarelli.

In his inaugural speech as President, Chike said “In 2018, I am going to work hard with our Directors and staff to ensure that we address the needs and wants of our members so as to ensure more member enthusiasm in participating in the board’s educational classes and programs throughout the year. My first order of business is to conduct a survey to find out what our membership desire from the board”.
He also said that “We will therefore leverage on the great opportunities that lies in the present economic boom in Inglewood for the full benefit of our members and the clients we represent throughout the community,’
